Jean-Pascal liked Gérard Doux's review of The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder: "It was a pleasant read, but it had the same issues as The Lost City of Z: presented as (almost) a documentary but very romanticised, and a disappointing ending. I think I will stop there with Grann."
