Andrew Buckley is a film school-educated writer, which means he’s spent most of his life with no money and a high opinion about bad movies. Around the turn of the century he attended the Vancouver Film School’s Writing for Film and Television program, graduating with excellence. Today, he’s a traditionally and self-published novelist, a comic book writer, screenwriter, filmmaker, podcaster, teacher, and presenter.

For over 20 years, he’s worked in the dreaded world of marketing as a content creator, copywriter, and strategist for large national and international brands. He actively develops curriculum and teaches marketing, social media, and communication theory at two national private colleges.

As a writer, Andrew favors playing in the fanta

Dear 'Chad' - An Unpopular Opinion About Game of Thrones and Creative Control

Picture So there it is, the end of Game of Thrones. We sat through 73 episodes over the course of 8 years to watch the journey of the Starks, Lannisters, and Targaryens as they fought and schemed for ruling power over the 7 Kingdoms. Masterminded through a story by George RR Martin and presented to us by Showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff, GoT has easily been one of the most ambitious shows to gra Read more of this blog post »

“Cherrytick fancied himself a bit of a card shark and took great pride in beating most opponents when it came to the game of poker. Four months ago, he and Neville were the last two standing in a game of poker at Dingo’s. After finally deciding to sit down, Neville and Lord Cherrytick continued to play.”

“anyone from Birmingham would understand, it was a complete rarity for anything to be dancing across the grass, especially sunlight, as England constantly loses sunlight to nicer, brighter countries like Australia. Ironically, Australia was the place where England sent its criminals. They were caught doing some illegal act in a dreary, dank, and gloomy country where drizzle was a common factor throughout the day, and then they got shipped off to a beautiful sandy beach, very close to the Great Barrier Reef. Punishment was obviously a skewed thought in everyone’s mind back in the olden days. Probably something to do with the rain falling and softening what were obviously already very soft heads.”

Andrew Buckley I love when book reviewers take a different spin on reviewing books. This one has it all! The good points, the bad points, humor, why they picked up the book...also includes a puppet.

Thanks to Linda Dean for this wicked review of Death, the Devil, and the Goldfish :) http://youtu.be/p7aaHcurULg

Andrew Buckley DEATH, THE DEVIL, AND THE GOLDFISH is climbing the #Amazon rankings today like a highly motivated mountain goat. I'd like to urge that trend to continue by encouraging you to go pick up a copy today!

Grab an e-copy for just $4.51 for you, or a friend, or a friend's friend, family member, creepy uncle, beloved family pet, co-worker, ex-lover, current lover, future lover, or randomly gift it to a person on the internet.

To help you along, here are some reviews:

"Andrew Buckley conjures the spirit of British humor into a Pythonic metaphysical musing that will have you laughing out loud. Definitely recommend this one!"

"Death, the Devil, and the Goldfish is a fun, illogical tale filled with fascinating premises, confusing impossibilities, hard-headed humor, three-minute chapters, and movie-style special effects. Who knows, it maybe become a movie one day."

"All in all a greatly satisfying romp of a book, with a wholly unpredictable ending and the thing every fictional work ought to have these days, material enough left over for a sequel. This one has more than enough, plus directions for the Macarena. Read it; you'll laugh, a lot."

"This book was an absolute hoot, just hilarious. It reminded me in some ways of Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchett."

"The story line is very original and the author's dry humor is outstanding. I agree with one of the other reviews, I embarrassed myself more than once by laughing/making other laughter stifling noises in public."

"Death, the Devil, and the Goldfish is great! Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy meets John Kennedy Toole's A Confederacy of Dunces, with a smattering of Robert Rankin's The Antipope for flavor."

"One of the best put together tales I've read in a long time. Light, funny yet intelligent. Everything fitted together seamlessly in an engaging novel that I couldn't put down. Can't wait for Buckley's next."

Get your copy now! :) #Kindle
