Dominic Green answered Gregg Eshelman's question: How would you go about fixing the huge technical error in "Twinkle, Twinkle, Collapsar"? What error? You can't have a "stationary orbit" around a planet or moon that's tide locked. The closest to such is to park the spacecraft in one of the Lagrange points, which for a planet and the star it orbits would all be too far away to provide quick access to and protection for any place on the planet. First of all, apologies for not having answered this earlier - I don't get on Goodreads that much (I'm far more active on Facebook). Yes, it's a problem.
