Lady Margaret's Escape by V.C. Sportelli

Christine’s first review of the year

liked it
3.5 stars

I liked the story but felt it dragged on a little too long. The relationship between Margaret and Matilda was interesting. I didn't feel like I could really connect with Margaret as much as I wanted to and I don't know why. The story as a whole seemed to be just always on the surface and didn't dive deep enough. Not sure if I will continue on as there are three more books and I don't know that I want to invest the time.

Christine’s last review of the year

really liked it
Twisty

Fast paced with multiple options for whodunit. I'll admit I had my suspicions early on, due to one of the narrators povs, and I was correct. However, it's really not blatantly obvious and a good read. Reminded me a bit like Pretty Little Liars.
