it was amazing
this is the best book i could have started 2023 with!!
idk why i put it off for so long.

plot:
okay tbh, there's like barely any plot. it's all vibes. and that's totally fine with me. despite tessa being blind, this book was very atmospheric and vividly described and i enjoyed it so much!! some of the things they did were so fun to read about, like the theme park etc.

really liked it
the pacing in this was so bad (nothing happened for the first 2/3) but once the ball finally got rolling it was so good. the games were really enjoyable, but i wish we saw more of them. this was a more character driven book, which i liked. i really love kell, and i especially love lila she is by far my favorite. rhy kind of got on my nerves a little bit, but i love alucard. i loved seeing lila's magic grow and the end has me excited for the next ...more
