A very unique reading experience. My first Murakami, it was such a delightful page turner that I overlooked the supernatural elements that don't make sense at all. But ig that's the entire point of magic realism. Loved it to the end.

I'm so proud to have completed this. But even though it was a bit of a difficult read, this particular editon with paintings by Ted Nasmith and also my companion 'The atlas of middle earth' made this a fun journey into this epic saga.
