I found a typo where a kinda important-to-the-current-situation-character apparently had a different name in the first draft and I was VERY confused for a solid minute where this other character came from jsjsjsjs

Reading this is like taking one of those flat escalators in the airport, and having people try to high-five you along the way and miss every time.

Are you going somewhere? Probably.
Is it any different from where you started? Maybe a little bit.

And then, as you try to focus on the end goal, trying to keep track of the luggage and everything, hands keep smacking you in the face and you lose focus again.

I'm sad.

I get that she wants to protect her friends, but the fact that she can't even take a moment to explain and instead takes it personally and storms out ??? SIS, ISTG DO YOU REALIZE THAT THIS MAKES YOU LOOK GUILTY AF THIS IS SO UNNECESSARYYYY 😭😭

if I have to read more than one (1) chapter of her sulking over the villain not trusting her when she gave him absolutely zero context I will ✨️ s c r e a m ✨️

I accidentally imagined the villain as Plankton from Spongebob bcs his POVs are so SILLY and now I can't unsee it 😭😭😭 I bet Plankton and Spongebob (in the princess fit) would pull this story off FLAWLESSLY

HE HAS A CANON, WRITTEN-OUT NAME. THANK GOD.

Also, the way the villain's POV is written reminds me of 'The Way of the Househusband' with the ridiculous levels of simping he's up to LOL.

So apparently this book is basically an extension of an ongoing skit/"series" on tiktok by the author about "what it'd be like if I worked as the villain's assistant", hence the lack of name for the villain and the silly scenarios. Definitely worth to consider/look up before going into this bcs it doesn't really work on its own if you go in blind... ://

It's so weird to read this bcs it has such a rom-com vibe and I feel it's gonna be hard to keep thinking of "The Villain" as a bad guy going forward but more of a Robin Hood-kinda guy if anything... 🤔

Also please for the love of god let this guy have a name ?? 😭😭 I don't think I can make it through another book where the character is only referred to as their TITLE 😭💀
