Robert Downey Jr likes to have fun when it comes to his suits. While formalwear is traditionally very, well.. formal, the Iron Man star isn't afraid of a little experimentation. He did it at the Annual Governors Awards. He did it at the Oscars. And he did it once again, during Chris Hemsworth's Walk of Fame ceremony in Hollywood yesterday.

Featuring a double-breasted design, Downey Jr's Amiri blazer was crafted from a silky material and was detailed with glossy black buttons and extra pointy lapels. It looked like your classic jacket, really. But unlike your classic jacket, this one stayed on theme with a unique pattern that showed off some of Los Angeles' biggest landmarks. We're talking Beverly Hills, the TCL Chinese Theater, and that massive Hollywood sign that's made a cameo in pretty much every single big blockbuster since the dawn of time itself.

He then jumped into some sharply-creased trousers (flared, of course), and a pair of oxblood leather shoes with a chunky gum rubber sole. He also strapped on the Tag Heuer Monaco. First seen on the wrist of Steve McQueen in the film Le Mans in ‘69, if you had to name a watch that best represented the glitz and glam of showbiz, it would be this one.

Yes, Robert Downey Jr could've just could've just worn a “normal” suit, but where's the fun in that? And this is RDJ we're talking about, so “normal” suits probably don't even exist in his wardrobe.
