After what seemed like an eternity of frustration, the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG has finally landed. And even though we're only three months into 2024, some sneakerheads are already calling it the sneaker of the year (which seems premature, but we should just let people have nice things).

In its almost 40 year long history, the Air Jordan 1 has been blessed with countless collabs. But what makes this particular one so special is the fact that's made in partnership with Michael Jordan's son, Marcus, and his Trophy Room store that's based out of Orlando, Florida. Drawing inspiration from his dad's 1986 Fleer Basketball rookie card and a 1984 Sports Illustrated photo, the collection is made up of two colourways: ‘Home’ and ‘Away.’

Both pairs feature a ‘Reverse Black Toe’ palette, and are made from materials that are so much better than your average Jordan Brand trainer. We're talking premium leather that wraps around the entire base of the shoe, and a sewn on Swoosh. The lacing system and toe area are both decked out in a red polyester fabric, which is meant to again nod to Jordan Sr's legendary Bulls jersey.

Around the back of the shoe, the winged basketball is done up in gold, and to really drive the theme home, MJ's signature is scrawled across the lateral heel. Underfoot, the midsole is infused with Nike Air tech, and it has been pre-yellowed for a vintage vibe, just like the Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Lost & Found’ from 2022. Each pair is then packed in a special shoebox, which comes complete with a bunch of equally-as-special accessories.
