Despite a major lack of real-time public appearances, Harry Styles still served plenty of looks throughout 2020.

The Fine Line singer delivered music videos for his chart-topping tracks “Golden”, “Watermelon Sugar” and “Falling”, which saw him throw his support behind a handful of rising talents such as Steven Stokey-Daley, Harris Reed and Bode.

Now, we’ve been given his first (sort of) live performance since pre-Covid days and there’s another of those gender-bending ‘fits that he’s become synonymous with. And, even better, he has again used his platform to shine the spotlight on an up-and-coming brand.

Taking to the stage at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball – which, like every event this year, had no audience and was filmed remotely – Styles wore an exaggerated peak-lapelled checked blazer with cropped sleeves, ankle-grazing brown slacks (the same ones Timothée Chalamet wore recently to impersonate him) and a pale blue shirt, all from from Alessandro Michele’s Gucci Autumn/Winter 2020 collection.

But it was the Éliou “Pearly-Eyed” yellow beads around his neck that caught our attention. The brand, which counts Gigi Hadid among its fans and is just over a year old, is the brainchild of Duda Teixeira and Cristina Mantilla and perfectly suits Styles’ gender-fluid, kitschy style. Teixeira, Mantilla and their all-female team use pearls, shells, beads and gold sourced from Brazil to create one-of-a-kind pieces that won’t break the bank (you can snatch one of its beaded necklaces for just over £100).

And the Jingle Ball wasn’t the first time Styles has worn one of Éliou's designs. He threw on not one, but three for the music video for “Golden”, one of which read “tired” and another the name of the track.

Now, with Teixeira and Mantilla expanding Éliou with what they're calling “wearables” (hoodies, shirts, bucket hats and caps), expect to see more of it on Styles soon.

In the meantime, check out the below Éliou goods.
