The double-breasted suit carries an air of formality and pride about it. The breast swoops majestically across the chest and you can’t help but button it up with an exuberant flailing little finger. Its figure-wrapping shape means it pins your shoulders back and helps with your posture. It elicits a certain sense of “dressing up” that not many other styles can.
Tailoring trends of late have leaned towards a looser silhouette, with more space to relax into.
