How we chose the best gifts for boyfriends
It’s the task of the GQ Recommends team to...well, to recommend products. Genuinely good ones, that is. As such, at least one of the team has tried a majority of the gadgets, foods, clothes and other such frivolities in the list to follow. The guide’s editor, Jessie Atkinson, spends a large portion of her working life attending product launches, trying out unique gifts herself and seeking recommendations from beyond the people she knows at GQ. Plenty of the gifts in the following list she has tested herself (Rituals body wash is a current favourite), though where that’s not possible, she has chosen thoughtful gifts based on brands with positive reviews and/or that she knows to be high-quality.
