Thor Svaboe is an enthusiastic writer on watches for GQ, and the only Norwegian that doesn’t own a pair of skis. After a stint on YouTube and the largest Scandinavian Online Magazine, Svaboe writes for Fratello Watches, with previous editor’s roles at Time + Tide Watches and Oracle Time. While keeping a finger on the pulse of the watch world, Svaboe tries to avoid his Contrarian label, failing miserably. You will find him in a business meeting wearing a Brioni jacket with a £19 orange Casio, or on the beach with a frayed tee and a small bespoke dress watch. Thor has interviewed Industry CEOs and horologically-focused artists alike, and has the unimaginative social media handle @thorsvaboe.
