Bradley Cooper knows how to get a fit off. On press tours, his tailoring is always immaculate. He’s a pro at couples casual-cool with girlfriend Gigi Hadid. Roaming around New York City solo recently, though, he solidified his next chapter: turbo dad.

Let’s start up top with his incognito-celeb-coded aviator shades. They’re not just any old aviators. They’re designed by luxury LA-based label Dom Vetro who makes each pair by hand (which, in the age of cult Jacques Marie Mage shades, is a necessity for brands that want to amp things up a little). Then, doubling down on '70s eyewear, his prescription specs—also by Dom Vetro—are hanging from the top of his classic navy T-shirt. Double the glasses, double the dad energy.

And it makes sense. After all, you’ll need easy access when you have to read scripts for work, get to school pick-up at 4 p.m., and then head out on date night with one of the world’s biggest supermodels—all while trying to hide from photographers and, of course, shade your eyes from the sun. Better yet, they’re on trend, too, with '70s silhouettes doing the work on red carpets (earlier this year, Glenn Powell and Dominic Sessa were but two famous guys going for Studio 54 shades at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party).

Moving onto the fit. The T-shirt and trousers have that loose, flowy feel. The look that says I’m expensive and I’m not even trying—which is amped up by the unironed finish and rolled-out-of-bed hair. Above all, it looks damn comfy and practical. As a guy who often blends gorpcore with basics, comfort and functionality is seemingly high on the actor’s priority list.

Beyond clothes, none of his looks would be complete without a hyped-up sneakerhead fave. A man who knows his trainers, he has everything from ultra-normal Salomons to limited edition Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Highs in his collection. This time, it’s the Air Jordan 4 in Taupe Haze. These are a rare take on the original crafted in suede and leather—a pair you’d struggle finding for less than $300 on the resale market.

It seems Bradley Cooper is doing dadcore better than ever.
