Suicide Squad, the DC Comics movie about a rag-tag group of villains turned heroes, will hit theaters later this year. There are many questions left to be answered about it, chief among them being: What will Jared Leto's Joker be like? Leto has big shoes to fill for the role, which was made famous by Jack Nicholson and then taken to another level by the late Heath Ledger. It's clear, however, from the stories of his castmates that Leto really dedicated himself to the role.

We had known previously Leto gifted some very interesting items to the rest of the Suicide Squad, because he gave them the gifts while in character. Of these strange presents, Margot Robbie—who plays the Joker-obsessed Harley Quinn—received perhaps the strangest: a live rat. But as it turns out, after an initial freak-out, Robbie developed quite the bond with the animal.

"At first I thought this was disgusting. But then after that...I was like, I'm not going to kill him," Robbie told Jimmy Fallon. "So I ended up keeping him as a pet. I ended up getting him like a sweet little playpen, a slide, a hammock, and a leash because I wanted to take him to set and walk him around... But then our landlord at the place I was staying found out."

A playpen? A slide? A hammock?! This rat was living the greatest pet life ever. There are millions of children who would be lucky to have even one of the things Robbie's rat—affectionately named Rat Rat—had in its short stay at Margot Robbie's place. Unfortunately, Robbie and Rat Rat had to part ways after her landlord found out she was living with a rodent. But our story has a happy ending: Rat Rat found his way to a good home with director Guillermo del Toro, because apparently this rat is living the best life of his entire species.
