*SPOILERS ALERT* Banita Sandhu is a part of the Bridgerton Season 3 cast as Sita Malhotra. Miss Malhotra joins the likes of Francesca Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd) as one of the many debutantes aspiring to be proclaimed as Queen Charlotte’s (Golda Rosheuvel) ‘Diamond’ of the season. Most of Banita’s scenes are with Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) and Cressida Cowper (Jessica Madsen).

Banita Sandhu took to Instagram to share her excitement of starring in the globally popular Netflix series: “Had a Ton of fun. So grateful to have had the opportunity to immerse myself in the Bridgerton universe, being able to dress up and join the world of Julia Quinn’s (Bridgerton book series author) incredible characters. Thank you Netflix and Shondaland for a wonderful experience that I will forever cherish. Wish I could keep the costumes though.”

For the unversed, Banita Sandhu made her acting debut opposite Varun Dhawan in Shoojit Sircar’s October, a slice-of-life drama film. The talented actress has also starred in another Sircar directorial alongside Vicky Kaushal; Sardar Udham.

*SPOILERS ALERT* Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1 ended on a cliffhanger note as Colin confessed his love to Penelope in classic Bridgerton style, and asked for her hand in marriage in an impromptu proposal. Giving us a candid sneak-peek at what’s to come in Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2, the final four episodes will delve into not just Colin and Penelope’s nuptials, but also the unmasking of Lady Whistledown.

Eloise, who is aware of Penelope being Lady Whistledown, threatens to reveal her former best friend’s true identity to her brother.
