How much does Bulgari’s Serpenti Aeterna necklace that Priyanka Chopra adorned cost?

Bulgari’s Serpenti Aeterna necklace, which took 2,800 hours to complete, has been touted as the most precious work of art created by Bulgari jewellers. According to People and Glamour, the gorgeous diamond necklace comes with a gobsmacking price tag of $43 million (approximately Rs 358 crore).

Lucia Silvestri, Bulgari’s Jewellery Executive Creative Director, designed the centrepiece. The Serpenti Aeterna necklace, according to People and Vogue, is cut from a diamond of 200 carats. Seven pear diamond drops totaling 140 carats — along with 698 baguette cut diamonds — were created to celebrate the maison’s 140th anniversary.

Priyanka Chopra “quite literally” looked like a million bucks as she paired the Serpenti Aeterna necklace with a custom Del Core Trompe l’oeil gown, featuring a monochromatic wing neckline in peau de soie, alongside a black skirt in silk chiffon. Chopra also debuted a brand new bob hairstyle.

Priyanka Chopra attended the fashion event alongside other brand ambassadors and friends of the house, including Anne Hathaway, Shu Qi, Liu Yifei, Isabella Rossellini and Carla Bruni. Chopra joined the Bulgari family in 2021.

Priyanka Chopra’s last visit to India was in March when she attended Bulgari’s Mumbai store launch with Reliance heiress Isha Ambani. For the soirée, the actress — who will next be seen in Heads of State alongside Idris Elba and John Cena — wore a rose gold necklace from Bulgari’s Serpenti collection. The necklace costs a whopping $82,000 (approximately Rs 68 lakh), according to People.
