Sushi Nakazawa Will Now Serve Some of the City’s Best Sushi at Lunch

Nigiri at Sushi Nakazawa.

It’s the three-uni lunch. The highly regarded omakase restaurant Sushi Nakazawa will open for lunch starting on November 6, offering a $150 menu. Reservations can be made on Wednesday. The restaurant was opened by New York restaurateur Alessandro Borgognone and Daisuke Nakazawa, who worked for cult sushi chef Ono and appeared in the documentary Jiro Dreams of Sushi. It’s considered by many to be one of the city’s finest destinations for raw fish, earning a very rare four-star review from the New York Times and the No. 2 spot on New York critic Adam Platt’s list of the best sushi in town. Borgognone courted controversy after it was announced that he would open a location in Donald Trump’s Washington, D.C., hotel.
