Women entrepreneurs in Cape Verde receive support for growing and formalizing their businesses

Within the context of the Jov@Emprego project in the Republic of Cabo Verde, financed by the Government of Luxembourg, the ILO and its partner organizations carried out several activities to integrate young people in the labour market. The project also targets women entrepreneurs, especially those with low incomes. The Sucupira50 pilot project was implemented to strengthen the capacities of 50 entrepreneurs in the informal market of Praia called 'Sucupira' and support the growth and formalization of their businesses.
