Kanoa Wolfe-Doblin is a multimedia composer based in Los Angeles, CA. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and then was raised on the Island of O'ahu. Since arriving to Los Angeles in 2015, he has been fortunate to assist multiple composers. He assisted multimedia composer Keith Power from 2016-2021, working as the music coordinator and music editor on the CBS TV show "MacGyver" as well as writing music arrangements on season 7 of "Hawaii Five-0".
In 2020, he composed the score for the feature film "New Providence", (which is available on Amazon) and in 2021 he completed the score for the feature film "Along Came Wanda". In the last few months of 2021, "Along Came Wanda", won best original score at the London Independent Film Awards and Mindfield Film Festival, as well as best feature film at multiple festivals worldwide. It was picked up by Los Angeles production house Buffalo 8, and is now available to stream worldwide as of February 14th, 2022.
He has provided additional music for varying network television shows, as well as written music for feature films, video games, production libraries, trailers and podcasts. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition for the Screen from Columbia College Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from Columbia College Chicago.
