We have to make sure our security policies are aligned with business goals, security should not obstruct the business rather security should let the business work with security. So design policies which let the business users work but with security mindset and that can be achieved when they get proper security awareness trainings, live practical examples and have rewards. Policies should be easy to read, should be highlighted points which gives clear understanding to users what to do and what not. If companies can provide written policies in some video training format, the purpose is that all should be interested to follow it and that can be achieved when users will find it interesting.
