The fundamental source of creativity is the second energy plex in our spinal cord and needs to be activated individually, and then in groups, for sustainable increase in creativity in groups / companies promoting innovations. I’m a big believer in creating an ‘accountability vehicle’ when it comes to ensuring that new concepts introduced in a large group session are applied when participants return to their day jobs. When it comes to the application of novel ideas of working, that push boundaries and challenge the status quo, ‘if you don’t use them, you will lose them’. A follow up ‘thank you for your engaged participation’ with an attached reference or resource link aligned with group learning, can be a useful prompt to encourage session participants to reflect on key working session takeaways.
