A decision was made for a need to design a plan to make a large recreation area more user friendly encouraging the areas use for passive activities. The cornerstone was where to design a walking path. The idea was formulate to open the area (had been fenced) to encourage people to walk through it. after a complete Spring, Summer, Fall season, planners scrutinized the area and discovered a winding path in tamped down grass by people walking through the area. On a closer look, the planners realized that the person made path made perfect sense and accomplished the goal.
