There is a certain element of “fake it till you make it” approach that is required. This is not to say you lie. That will quickly be determined. But if you have done your homework, studied a case and are visiting a client, this is the time to let your confidence shine. Speak authoritatively and try not to use self doubting words. Also monitor your voice tone. If, like me, you have me the tendency tk be softly spoken, make a conscious effort to speak louder than you would normally do. To others, you will sound audible enough. Finally, don’t be afraid to say, sorry, I do not have that information with me. Let me get back to you on that. Then follow up without fail!

Early in your career, the best way to build confidence is through specialization and talent stacking. If you focus on one or two niches, you can generate more knowledge than many industry veterans have in a very short period of time. Look for new emerging niches that are just developing, you will have an overlay to the market and nothing helps build confidence like being able to teach veterans and show them that you have an area of true specialty

Whether you're building your own insurtech venture or work for a larger organization, rejection should always be viewed as a possibility to obtain 'experience points'. You need to be secure in your own value positioning (whether this is founded in your self-confidence in your expertise the market or belief in your startup's value positioning), and if it is challenged or rejected, take it as an opportunity to learn and build resilience - take the feedback you need and move forward. If you know you have a strong value propositon whether personally or for your company - sooner or later, success will follow! Everyone faces rejection at times, the key is to adopt a powerful mindset and move forward from rejection towards success! :)

Instead of viewing rejection as a setback, see it as a stepping stone toward success. For instance, when pursuing a major contract or partnership, you might face several 'No's' before hitting a 'Yes.' Treat rejection as part of a numbers game—each 'No' brings you closer to a 'Yes.' Embracing this mindset has helped me achieve success that seemed unimaginable 5-10 years ago. In fact, I would recommend to look for the 'No's', search for the 'No's'!
