I honestly can’t think of any other better strategy. You have to show up online and be part of a community. How you show up will lead you to your tribe or it may help your tribe find you. What you need to remember is intentionality in building your brand online, so that your audience and potential collaborators can have a clear signal of your direction and your value addition.

A meu ver, primeiro temos que achar as pessoas, depois decidirmos pela ferramenta online mais adequada. Para encontrar essas pessoas, existem diversas maneiras, eu prefiro os eventos temáticos, principalmente cursos online. O contato inicial nasce através dos trabalhos colaborativos na própria sala de aula virtual e se expande para o networking.

Participer à un événement en ligne , c’est bien.. mais cela suffit il? Je ne crois pas! Au delà de l’événement, il faut à mon humble avis oser! Oser contacter les personnes identifiées , les profils susceptibles de devenir nos partenaires.. aller à leur rencontre avec un message.. bref, comme en « presentiel », adopter la bonne posture: c’est un réseau qui se construit et va exiger une implication en mode digital!! Au delà de ce que nous pouvons apprendre de ces évents - webinars @ autres- c’est un formidable moyen de « e rencontrer » de potentiels collaborateurs sous réserve d’Oser :-)

Reach out and connect with people who do interesting work right here on LinkedIn! When I think of my creative collaborations, they have mostly come from relationships I have built through LinkedIn connections. And these generally start with an genuine and mutual interest in each others work.

Don't be afraid to ask for an intro call to get to know someone. Even if you aren't sure how you'd partner or collaborate yet, take the time to learn what someone is doing and see if ideas come to you during the conversation. I've had conversations where both sides know they have overlapping interests but aren't sure how they can work together yet. By approaching these conversations in an open and thoughtful manner, we've been able to identify areas of collaboration that benefit us both - and we would wouldn't have been able to do that just from reading each other's LinkedIn profiles. Also don't be afraid to reach out because you think someone will say no. If you don't make the ask, the collaboration will never happen.
