Job security is a myth after Covid. Unless someone continuously educate and upskill themselves. Call center agents and staff job security has no meaning. Everyone knows that call centers in India and Pakistan are dead end jobs. As long as someone has the projects managing it with American or other western countries standard; then there may be. However, there will always be ambiguity. LinkedIn is asking a wrong question. LinkedIn should address what if the Internet is down. What will you do then? Every person is a technology and Internet dependent person. AI will take its shape; but you can't miss Internet.
My strategy is always
1. Upskill - educate and self-train yourself
2. Create a product and work on it part time - revenue stream

Identify your transferable skills: Highlight the skills you've developed in your BPO role, such as customer service, problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail. These skills are highly valuable in the IT field and can help you transition more seamlessly.

During BPO transitions, addressing employee job security concerns requires transparency and proactive communication. Start by engaging employees early, explaining the reasons for the transition, and highlighting opportunities for growth within the new structure. Offer reskilling and upskilling programs to prepare them for evolving roles. Create an open feedback loop, where employees feel heard and supported throughout the process. Job security isn’t just about retaining positions—it's about ensuring employees have the tools to thrive in a changing environment. #EmployeeEngagement #BPO #WorkforceTransformation #JobSecurity
