Some of us face the reality that if we don't have a project planned or a certification exam scheduled, we won't have the motivation to actually follow through with starting something. If that sounds like it applies to you, I recommend that you go ahead and schedule your CompTIA Linux+ or RCHSA to that you feel obligated to jump into a terminal interface and get to learning. Once you have something on the docket, you'll feel much more motivated to study and master Linux and bash.
