How do you enhance the visual appeal of your UX design?

Through my design journey, I've discovered the immense value of harnessing the power of tints and shades derived from the company's corporate color palette. This practice not only fosters a sense of coherence within the color scheme but also broadens the spectrum of colors at your disposal for your creative endeavors. Furthermore, I prioritize infusing color into shadows to enhance visual depth and vibrancy. Another crucial point I'd like to share is the importance of ensuring color accessibility and legibility in your designs.

In my experience colors represent a brand. When I am developing a UI/UX 1st and formost thing i fo is choose color as the brand suggest. And I Will use that or those colors throughout the interface to create brand Identity.

Speaking about fonts, I would like to pay attention to accessibility. Especially inactive elements, signatures and forms. In my experience, there has already been a case when we did not pay due attention to the accuracy of the text, which is why the readability and user experience have deteriorated significantly.

I have seen that in the hands of a skilled designer, color becomes more than just aesthetics. It starts acting as a potent tool to guide users, infuse meaning, and stir emotions. And remember, that a well-designed color scheme isn't just eye candy, it's a strategic harmony that elevates a brand, guides users on their journey, and leaves them with a lasting positive impression.

I would recommend having a daily practice of checking into what's going on in the cutting-edge of UX by regularly checking and studying works on sites such as behance and awwwards.

The right font depends on the context of the experience. Typography can express brand attributes and personality in addition to legibility. ❇️ Select a font that has multiple weights to emphasize hierarchy, but avoid too thin of weights that might have visibility issues. ✅ Stick to one or two different font styles that are a good pairing. ✅ Keep your headlines and body font differentiated enough to show hierarchy. ✅ Make sure your text area isn’t too wide, especially if used for blogs or reading intensive activities. It’s difficult to read wide widths. ✅ Make sure your headlines are mapped to H1, H2, H3 etc to ensure your website is accessible.

My point of view on font is really simple. From my experience When you're desiging a UI, you want it to look modern. So, for that when you don't have a good looking font it will ruin everything. For an example, when you have a e-commerce website and lots of products, you also have lots of font in a page. So when I am choice a font for similar projects. I will choose Something that is light and not so busy. Otherwise it will not look neet in the project. So, my opinion is font choosing is really important thing.

In my experience, there have been cases when the font, even in a graphic editor, was different from the render on the Internet and on mobile devices. Therefore, it is important to check the font in advance, especially if it is non-standard and fancy.

Imagine the power of a single word, whispered softly or boldly announced. In design, fonts hold this very power, shaping the way users understand and interact with your content. But choose the wrong font, and your message becomes a garbled shout, frustrating and alienating. Choose them wisely, and watch your design resonate with clarity and delight.

Use colors thoughtfully and deliberately. Often, less is more. Give colors meaning and intent. Highlight the most important actions or information for quick user scanning. This approach also helps create a hierarchy, especially on information-dense pages.

I want to add that it is very convenient to designate a vertical system of spaces, for example, how many pixels we retreat from the headers, how many between the cards, etc. Firstly, this will make the design consistent, secondly, it will be easier for programmers to develop, and thirdly, if the spaces are made as components, then you can very quickly change the distances in all layouts.

All these rules that you set for yourself when creating the interface should eventually turn into a design system that will allow you and other designers to maintain the consistency of the products.

Visual feedback in UX is like a chef’s wink after a perfect dish—it tells users, "I got you." It reassures, guides, and keeps them hooked, like a good novel or a spicy taco. Without it, users are lost in a desert, clicking and swiping, wondering if their inputs fell into a void. It’s the secret sauce that makes your design not just functional, but delightful. So, sprinkle that feedback like hot sauce on life—it’s what keeps things flavorful and engaging.

It is also worth adding that you can additionally add microanimations to the interface that will add a pleasant user experience.

To visually enhance your UX Design solutions, it's helpful to think strategically about the following elements: - Consider the overarching visual design approach and how to best align it with the company and their goals. - Ensure that all aspects of your design are universally consistent with the company's brand (colors, fonts, accessibility, balance of white space, imagery, iconography, interactions/animations, buttons, etc.). Ultimately, it's helpful to transform these components into a design system. - Look into current design trends and any feedback provided to optimize your design. Remember, the main purpose is to craft a beautiful and intuitive user experience. The visual/UI design accompanies and elevates this purpose. :)

Once you've got your first MVP up and running, shoot the link over to a friend or family member who's not super tech-savvy. Record their screen and listen to what they have to say as they go through your app or site. Make sure they start where everyone else would, like the sign-up page, and see how smoothly they can get through it. Jot down notes on each step they take while you're watching the video. Do this every time you roll out a new version, and trust me, your user interface will be so user-friendly that people will love using it.
