Researching the company is a great way to demonstrate your knowledge, interest, and alignment with the mission and work. Interviewers want to know that you want to be there. One of my favorite ways to do this is reviewing their YouTube channels and IG or LinkedIn posts - this shows you what is important to them beyond the news highlights and financial earnings calls.
Another target not mentioned- your interviewers. 70% of hiring decisions makers will research your social media to influence their hiring decisions. Do the same. Look up your interviewers, and weave common interests into conversation. Likeability and affinity biases are things! As much as bias in interviews is unfortunate, you can stack the cards in your favor too!

Research the companies of your interest and try to contact recruiters via DM. You can prepare a short pitch about yourself (a professional summary) and mention the roles you are interested in. It helps!

You should also be careful about what you say about your previous employer, colleagues, or clients. Here are a few practical ideas you can utilize with the network you already have:
1. Reach out to an old manager or old boss
2. Take the time to research and say hi to that old coworker that you haven’t talked to in years
3. Look to see where old colleagues work now
4. Identify people who already know your strengths and ask them for any leads or references

Sie oben genannten Punkte sind hoch relevant. Wichtig ist es, bei der ganzen Profil-, Netzwerk- und Content-Pflege aber auch schlicht gut kontaktierbar zu sein. Wenn zb Vernetzungsanfragen erst versendet werden können, wenn e sprechende interessierte Recruiter die Mailadresse kennen müssen, wird die Conversion der Sichtbarkeit auf Social Media zu echten Angeboten und Kontakten schwer.
Das gilt übrigens auch andersrum, Recruiter die #hiring rufen und Stellenanzeigen posten aber die Vernetzung so kompliziert halten, werden auch hier Nachteile haben :)
