One of the best example reflecting the identity is building and incorporating the local history and culture into the project. Sometime, in old and heritages building and structure, the identity and hence history is lost. The same is now being discovered by rebuilding and reconstructing those lost cultural and historical elements of the building and structures. These days, due to climate changes, most of our clients are insisting for clays and terracotta based. We need to find the niche or the visual identity that we want to bring into this market, and play to our strengths. There will be a change how small, medium and large firms operates, and the borders between work will be vague. Finding our own Voice, is important, and going outside of architecture for an answer can give just that push that we needed.

Humanização ainda é a chave! A tecnologia pode ser útil para aquele pontapé inicial de estudos que vc faz para apresentar ao cliente, ferramentas de modelagem 3D te aproximam da realidade, tecnologias e metodologias te levam a minimização de erros; mas nada disso desqualifica a criatividade e conhecimento do arquiteto, de forma alguma. Vejo como mais uma opção de avanço e crescimento. Porque no fim das contas, o que vai arrebatar o cliente, será a sua capacidade de entender com sensibilidade, criatividade, humanidade e empatia, os desejos e necessidades apresentados para o desafio de se projetar para o outro, e não para você mesmo. A key value that I have discovered, over the years, is that modern technology always seeks to introduce efficiency. For instance, we can all attest to the fact that CAD / BIM software have remained valuable tools, which aid the architectural design Workflow. Also, I recently got acquainted with AI software that can fast track the design process, saving at least 50% of the time spent on conceptualization. Therefore, architects need to always stay relevant and effective by being cognizant of industry trends and innovations.

This balance is not new, but it's been there since CAD was founded more than six decades before, and it's been advanced with the BIM since it started back in 1975 till it got its latest name BIM in 2000. Anyhow, throughout those years the balance in my opinion is set differently according to designer's level of talent and creativity.
