Articulation is as just as important if not more than Listening and Comprehension. We tend to place the burden of understanding on the receiver. But more than half the time, it is the speaker who lacks the clarity of though to describe clearly what they mean. 3. Adopt different types of communication to achieve different goals: E.g. Meetings should only be for decision making when conflicting opinions (with reasons already articulated beforehand) cannot come to a consensus. 5 minute calls should be used to articulate context and back-story. Emails should be used to document conclusion.
