How can you set realistic deadlines in VR?

In today's scenario, most deals are completed over phone calls and video conferencing. There are many deals I have personally won without even meeting the client in person for a demo. But the same doesn't work when it comes to project execution. Because the sale happens at a higher level and the person is not bothered about the modalities, but the ones executing the project need to understand the difference between standalone VR, PC-VR, device limitations, graphic quality etc., This works only if the execution team tries out our previous demos to understand the interactions required based on their audience and set realistic goals. So I suggest insisting the stake holders to try demo VR applications before setting the goals of the project.

Developing for VR is very different from traditional 2d mediums. We specialise in creating VR training and have created a tried and tested processes for delivering projects. First is requirements gathering. Normally we are trying to replicate real-world procedures and the best way to capture this is to video a subject matter specialist carrying out and narrating the process. Once we have captured the process we break it down in to the individual steps that the user must carry out. These steps are also used for pricing the development. Up to 50 user steps would create 1 modules and up to 5 modules equals a full scenario. We then create a user flow which shows the steps but also the different game responses which we call node steps.
