Additionally, improve resource and capacity planning by carefully evaluating the workload and distributing tasks based on strengths and availability. Lastly, stay flexible: implement regular check-ins and feedback sessions can also help identify bottlenecks early and adjust plans as needed to keep the team on track and motivated.

Their is a lot more communication gap and longer feedback loops that induces ambiguity amongst the team members which inhibits them to perform. So the better way out here would be to be crystal clear on the outcome and plan the journey by creating mini achievement milestones with the team for achieving it. This can be also done by creating SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) ; when we break down the tasks into OKRs (Objectives and Key Results); It enables the team with a path to achieve it. Manager should enable shorter feedback loops, training / guidance to the team if they are unable to achieve mini milestones & being transparent and over communicative so everyone is aligned on the expectations.

I would first identify the root causes of the productivity challenges. This involves evaluating factors such as communication gaps, lack of clear goals or expectations, technical limitations, or personal challenges faced by team members. Once the underlying issues are identified, I would implement targeted solutions such as improving communication channels through regular meetings, leveraging collaboration tools for seamless workflow management, providing necessary training or resources to enhance skills, setting realistic goals and milestones, and fostering a positive team culture through recognition and motivation.

Lastly, trust plays a pivotal role in remote teams, hence, avoiding micromanagement is essential.
