Ball Over Everything 🏀 Last week, 2K hosted NBA 2K25 Community Day in Springfield, Massachusetts, bringing together creators from five continents for an exclusive first look at NBA 2K25. Senior Manager, Community - NBA 2K, Evan Yang gave us a rundown of the event - his sixth Community Day with 2K: “NBA 2K Community Day events have been a cornerstone at 2K for many years, serving as a crucial opportunity for us to connect with our core creators and their audiences. Three years ago, as we returned to in-person events after the pandemic, we rebooted Community Day with a more robust strategy, focused on creating a rotating opportunity for both established and emerging creators who we believe deserve the spotlight and exclusive access. Since then, we’ve witnessed exponential growth in content, relevance, and global interest from a community that eagerly anticipates Community Day each year as one of the first opportunities to watch authentic gameplay and content from their most trusted sources. This year, we took NBA 2K25 Community Day to the next level by taking over the historic Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The venue provided the perfect backdrop to showcase the latest installment in the NBA 2K franchise, especially our NBA 2K25 Hall of Fame Edition featuring Vince Carter. We hosted 100+ content creators and press, allowing them to capture pre-launch content and share with their communities including detailed game feature breakdowns, beginner tutorials, and more, providing players with the in-depth information they are looking for.”
