Last week, I traveled to Austin, TX to attend and participate in the 2024 WLCE Symposium. I was humbled to be part of such an empowering event—not just being surrounded by inspiring and strong female leaders, but also being considered one of them.
Together with three other managers, I sat on the “Claim Your Space: Career Paths for All” panel where we explored our individual career paths and what it means to claim our space in the workforce. I am grateful to have been involved in sharing my experiences and help others feel seen, heard, and appreciated. Throughout my career, I have worked tirelessly to advocate for myself and my team, creating safe, productive, and collaborative spaces that lend to the success of our clients’ satisfaction, projects’ outcome, and individual growth and morale.
Now more than ever, I am at a point in my career where I feel motivated and prepared to lead by example. I am determined to continue pushing myself, fostering growth and communication in those I work with, advocating for efficiency, making connections and collaborations, and showing up for myself and others.
