Let’s continue driving meaningful conversations in #neurosurgery! Reflect on what brings you the most professional joy, tag 3 colleagues and encourage them to pass it on. Together, we can inspire progress. #AANSRippleEffect #AANS2025

“What Fuels Your Professional Joy?” Join the Ripple Effect Conversation! As we journey toward #AANS2025, our Annual #Neurosurgery meeting in Boston, we continue to explore the theme “Power of One, Impact of Many.” A single action can spark a chain reaction, creating a ripple effect that extends far beyond its origin. This month, we're focusing on how personal experiences shape our professional joy and fulfillment. September Question: In 1-2 words, what brings you the most professional joy? Reflect on what drives your passion and purpose in your work. Share your response, then tag three colleagues to join the conversation and they can pass it onto three others, continuing our ripple effect. August Recap: Last month, we examined the biggest misconceptions people have about us and how those perceptions influence our careers. Thank you to everyone who shared their experiences! Let’s build on this momentum by exploring new insights each month. Together, we amplify the power of one. https://bit.ly/3WnJtcK #AANSRippleEffect! #AANS2025 #AANS American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) Kate Drummond AM Katie Orrico Isaac Yang Walavan Sivakumar Andrew Chan, MD Jake Young Michael E Ivan, MD, MBS, FAANS Joseph R. American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) reposted this
I enjoyed working with the team at National Geographic on the importance of good posture to prevent spinal and joint arthritic pain as we age. My tips in this article include elevating your computer monitor to eye level, avoiding slouching, and keeping your head centered over your pelvis when you walk. For details see the article. https://lnkd.in/g7yWXNk9 UCSF Department of Neurological Surgery University of California, San Francisco
