Another whirlwind of a week spent sponsoring Western Kentucky University M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan! It’s always a joy to be on the Hill with WKU’s students, especially this past week! Abound had the opportunity to once again sponsor multiple events during this year’s transition program for all new undergraduate students. From watching students play our Life-Size Financial Wellness Board Game to covering important topics during our Topper Financial Wellness sessions with WKU Center for Financial Success, we were able to connect with so many new faces! Abound was excited to celebrate the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard at our Campbellsville Branch this morning! We had the opportunity to help fund the purchasing of a new bus that can transport 20 Veterans to pay tribute to other Veterans’ military service and support their families. You will see this bus traveling throughout Central Kentucky starting this summer! During today’s celebration we were able to hear from Abound President & CEO Ray Springsteen, State Senator Jimmy Higdon, Abound Board Chair Wanda Parker, Abound Board Member Henry Wheatley and Marion County Veterans Honor Guard Command Sergeant Major Otha Allen. We’re proud to show our support and invest in the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard helping them grow the impact they have on our community!
