The Community Research for Health Equity (CRHE) program, managed by AcademyHealth and funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), supports community-led research to address health care issues affecting marginalized communities. During Pride Month, AcademyHealth featured an interview with Amy Stone Ph.D. of Trinity University about the Pride Center San Antonio's CRHE project, which investigates health care disparities in the LGBTQ+ community. This project aims to understand and improve health care experiences and outcomes for LGBTQ+ individuals in San Antonio.
