Congratulations to the 2024 winner of the Gold Medal Award: Rear Adm. Anne Swap, FACHE. The Gold Medal Award—ACHE’s highest honor bestowed on outstanding leaders—identifies Fellows of the American College of Healthcare Executives who best exemplify #leadership at the organizational, local, state/provincial and national levels. The Gold Medal Award recognizes individuals who go beyond the confines of their own organization to continually contribute to the improvement of healthcare services and community health. Swap served more than three decades in the U.S. Navy and was the director, National Capital Region Market, Defense Health Agency, Washington, D.C., where she served from 2020–2023. She will receive her award March 25 at the Opening Session during ACHE’s 67th Congress on Healthcare Leadership.
