Career & College Readiness Coordinator at North Community High School | AchieveTC | MA in Human Resource Management Graduate Summer 24
I’m excited to share an update on my career journey! A few months ago, I started a new role as a Career & College Readiness Coordinator at Achieve Twin Cities. This position is truly a dream come true for me, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a wonderful organization. I’m particularly proud of the seniors I’ve worked with this year. Saying goodbye to them at graduation was bittersweet, but I’m confident they’re moving on to fantastic opportunities. Being a part of their journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Thank you, Achieve Twin Cities, for believing in me, and Thank you, North Community High school, for welcoming me and trusting me with your students/children. Here’s to many more successful and inspiring years ahead! Additional note: I am one of the FAFSA Support Specialists at Achieve Twin Cities this summer readily available to assist anyone who needs help navigating their FAFSA/reading their financial award letters from July to mid-August especially those in MPLS. University of Minnesota student Jasmine Shackleford says that like countless other young people, she turned to social media to research colleges during her college application process. But she quickly learned that the most-viewed videos are rarely about finding the best college for you. Check out Jasmine's The Minnesota Daily (MN Daily) article, which features college search tips from our Southwest High School coordinator Gabrielle Brown Torres.
