Congratulations, Robin Visvanathar, MD PhD!
I'm honored to be included in this year's Forbes 30 Under 30 list. I figured I'd use the opportunity to share some of the recognition with the person who deserves it the most, my mom. When my mom was under 30, she had survived and escaped the war in Sri Lanka. She had lost her husband (my dad) suddenly to an undiagnosed disease. She was sending money back to help her family. She was alone in a country where she didn't know the language, with two young boys, far away from home and her family. Nevertheless, she persisted without the privilege of a formal education or prospects of recognition. To me, it's a gentle reminder as we celebrate these achievements... that most people do not even have the opportunity to play the game. Standing on the shoulders of others does not make us giants. It makes us privileged. I'm honored to receive this recognition on behalf of my mom and others like her. And one day, I hope to earn it just as much. Thanks to the Forbes team, judges, and everyone who nominated me. Much love ❤️ #Forbes30under30

We are excited to announce our €1.4m grant project with the Danish Technological Institute, in conjunction with DTU - Technical University of Denmark Pond Biomaterials to develop a novel process to convert CO2 into biodegradable plastic polymers, paving the way for a cleaner industrial value chain with CO2-made materials. Learn more about the project here: https://lnkd.in/d3bxmdF6
#ccus #ccu #co2 #plast #dkgreen
