This fall, athletic directors, coaches, and administrators across the Golden State need to be prepared for the rollout of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Extreme Heat and Air Quality Policy. The new regulations apply to all CIF member schools and do require changes to the way most athletic programs assess heat stress and student-athlete wellness. Here's how schools can comply and keep student-athletes safe. https://hubs.li/Q02Hj4cN0

A single wildfire can cost a utility company tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars -- not only in lost infrastructure, but also in lawsuits. All of us at AEM are proud to be helping #utilities like Arizona Public Service - APS minimize and respond to #wildfire risk.
🚀 Celebrating Our Install Team's Success! 🚀 I’m thrilled to share some accolades for our amazing install team. They recently conducted an APS training session here in Arizona on how to install AEM cameras. Their expertise and dedication were on full display as they trained others to ensure seamless installations. Check out the attached pics to see our team in action! 📸👏 A huge thank you to everyone involved. Your hard work and commitment are truly making a difference. We analyzed the #lightning activity in #HurricaneBeryl and found an important insight. The AEM R&D team leveraged observations from our Total Lightning Network and geostationary infrared satellite data to analyze the lightning types and locations within #Beryl from the time it became a hurricane until it made landfall in #Texas. Past analyses, such as our analysis of #HurricaneIan, have revealed that lighting activity around the eyewall tends to increase during periods of rapid storm intensification. This analysis revealed that lighting activity near Beryl's eyewall had an inverse relationship with lighting activity in the outer rainbands. When one increased, the other tended to decrease, and vice versa. For a look back at our analysis of Hurricane Ian's lightning activity, check out this blog: https://lnkd.in/gkc3_4KB
