Hatch Innovation Services is delighted to announce the Aquaculture Development Improvement Plans Report release, commissioned by the Hawaiʻi Department of Agriculture (HDOA).📊 🤝We sincerely thank Todd Low, the Aquaculture and Livestock Support Services Manager of the State of Hawaii Department of Agriculture (HDOA), Glenn Wakai, senator of the State of Hawaii, and all the companies and stakeholders for bringing value to the report, Steve Auerbach, Erik Franklin, Caroline Fry, Laurence Sombardier, Burt Lum, we appreciate such a great partnership on this project. 🌟and congrats to our Hatch Blue team members (Tanja Knabenschuh Hoel, Wayne Murphy, Dylan Howell, Alex Lajtos, Sakinah Lisa, and Inken Tiedemann) for their commitment and hard work. Reflecting on this initiative, Tanja Knabenschuh Hoel , Managing Director of Hatch Innovation Services, shared her insights: “What is unique about the innovation culture in Hawaiʻi is its strong commitment to ocean stewardship, deeply embedded in the local Hawaiian culture. Hawaiʻi also hosts some of the most impressive state-of-the-art infrastructure, making it a hotspot for technological development in warm water aquaculture.” Todd Low also expressed his appreciation for the report, noting: "The Strategic Plan Improvement Report has exceeded our expectations to improve the existing aquaculture development plan. It provides a clear roadmap for initiatives to position Hawaiʻi as a global aquaculture leader.” And we're thrilled to receive this recognition!🌍 The report emphasizes key improvements crucial to the growth of Hawaiʻi's aquaculture industry, with a primary focus on increasing aquaculture production and enhancing restorative practices.
