AI Tinkerers

I spoke at the Accenture office in Toronto!💜🎉 In late June, I had a wonderful opportunity to demo my AI project, EcoLoop, at the AI Tinkerers’ meetup which was held at Accenture Toronto. I was one of 7 speakers presenting our projects at the event, and the evening was full of 200 AI enthusiasts! EcoLoop was developed during a hackathon in January by me and three teammates. It is a platform that uses advanced AI to help you evaluate new ideas easily. One of its key features is Chatbot Interaction, which articulates problem-solution pairs proposed in the past under the topic of circular economy. It serves as a virtual assistant that validates and adds ideas to the database, which stores problem-solution pairs and their information. EcoLoop includes two types of filters: moonshot and on-topic. To enable these filters, I used the Cohere API’s Semantic Classifier for idea categorization and the Semantic Summarizer for summarization. Additionally, I included visualizations and metrics to provide insights through graphical representations, maturity stage assessments, and viability scores. The intelligence behind this platform is implemented using the RAG framework LangChain, connecting the Language Model to an extensive knowledge repository encoded in a vector database. For web development, I employed NextJS and TailwindCSS. Flask was used to manage backend processes, including the creation of endpoints and running ML models. Finally, Pinecone facilitated fast similarity searches for vectorized data. This event, following my high school graduation day, made it even more memorable. Visiting the Accenture office was a dream come true! I am truly grateful for this opportunity. Had a blast demoing at the AI Tinkerers SF Summer Edition yesterday! Infectious energy, mind blowing demos, brilliant people (and 🍕) With demos ranging from practical browser automation to futuristic AI physics engines. People were actually listening, asking questions, and brainstorming on the spot. No corporate pitches - just real devs showing their work, bugs and all. Thanks Paul Klein IV for organizing this!
