This 600,000 sq-ft distribution center in Gresham, OR, recently had 25 new 20-ton #AAONAlphaClass units installed. These units are low ambient and all-electric, providing heating and cooling capabilities without the need for gas piping. [And we're off!] Construction has started on the St. Charles Cancer Center in Redmond, Oregon. The new 53,000-square-foot building will include spaces for radiation oncology, chemotherapy infusion, surgical oncology, and expanded support services. The new Lane Community College (LCC) Industry & Trades Education Center (ITEC) is taking shape! We’re thrilled to be a part of this project as some of our Alliant Systems team members learned their trade through this program, and we anticipate future Alliant employees learning in this new, state-of-the-art facility!
The Lane Community College team is taking full advantage of all the sun this week at the Lane Community College Industry & Trades Education Center jobsite in Eugene, Oregon. With the mass plywood panels in place, crews have been busy with interior and exterior framing, wrapping the building with weather barrier and finishing up the roof. The team plans to start interior drywall in a couple of weeks. Once finished, this state-of-the-art trades education facility will make Eugene a hub for technical training and workforce development. Big thanks to our fantastic trade partners who are making it all happen! What a day! We were happy to spend time interacting with high school students from all over the greater Portland area at The NW Youth Careers Expo. The event shows students the region's amazing diversity of career opportunities, along with the skills and education needed for those jobs.
