Our core business is a specialty property and casualty insurance platform with two operating divisions—Everspan and Cirrata. Everspan is a specialty program insurer that focuses on diverse classes of commercial and personal liability risks, and Cirrata is an insurance distribution platform consisting of a diverse portfolio of MGA/MGUs and a wholesale broker. Ambac's legacy financial guarantee insurance business has been in run-off since 2008. Ambac's common stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “AMBC”.
