ACC and 12 trade associations are calling on Congressional Leadership to support the CRA disapproval resolutions against the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s finalized HON rule. As finalized, this rule could limit manufacture of chemistries needed for critical sectors, including agriculture, semiconductor, construction, healthcare, cleaning, transportation, and oil and gas. We urge Congress to approve this bipartisan resolution and look forward to continuing to engage with EPA to develop science-based regulations that support American competitiveness. We applaud Chairman Tom Cole, Chairman Mike Simpson, and Rep. Michael Cloud for leading House Appropriations efforts to address EPA regulations that hurt innovation and undermine critical supply chains. Overly restrictive regulations based on EPA’s #IRIS program and EPA’s approach on #TSCA threaten needed products for critical sectors ranging from semiconductor development to agriculture to renewable energy. These appropriations measures are a critical step to protecting American Competitiveness. Read our letters on the impacts of #IRIS and #TSCA here: https://lnkd.in/eUmDxqRQ
