Over 2 million kids use e-cigarettes and 4,000 start vaping every day. As students return to school, the risk of use increases through new stressors and peer pressure. Through our latest “You’re The Best Person” creative with the American Lung Association, we’re empowering parents to start an open conversation about the dangers of vaping with their children. Our thoughts are with Susan Wojcicki’s family, reminding us all that anyone with lungs can be at risk for lung cancer. The American Lung Association is committed to funding research for early detection, which is crucial for saving lives.

Consulting Principal | Nonprofit Board Chair | Microsoft Biz Apps CSP Partner Council | XChange Advisory Board | Here We GROW!!!

Serving as the Pacific West Chair of the Board has been an honor and I look forward to making an impact on the American Lung Association's 2024-2025 national board of directors. Why am I so passionate about lung health? Last week the former CEO of YouTube and one of Google's founders lost her battle with lung cancer. Susan Wojcicki was a 56-year old healthy, non-smoking, runner and swimmer. Lung disease does not discriminate and is one of the leading killers of women. #google #femalefounder #mother #youtube https://lnkd.in/gbYT3YRa

For our latest Lungcast™ episode with HCPLive, we are visited by Duke University’s Janelle Bludorn, MS, PA-C, for a comprehensive overview of heat-related respiratory illnesses. Due to climate change in all regions around the world, extreme heat has become a significant environmental and occupational health hazard with heatstroke classified as a medical emergency.
