Our expanded Life Cycle Survey is officially open for business and participation from AWC members as well as all wood products mills across the country. Th survey is designed to create a clearinghouse for the U.S. wood product industry's life cycle impacts data, and the information collected will create a stronger, more robust dataset to tell our story of #sustainability and transparency. In other words, the data will back our belief that wood - as a low-carbon building material - is the perfect solution for reducing the environmental impacts of our future built environment. Last night was the premiere of the Women of Carbon documentary in Portland, OR. It was so nice to be around colleagues and friends who are working toward a common goal - decarbonizing the built environment! A lot of good people committed to doing impactful work for generations to come. It inspires hope… I was delighted to be joined by several of American Wood Council’s emerging women of carbon - Sophie Morin, Madison Stephens, and Sarah Jane Puls.
