TAX UPDATE - RELIEF FOR SOME INHERITED IRAS: As a reminder, the SECURE Act eliminated the commonly utilized “stretch IRA” for beneficiaries. A new 10-Year Rule was established where applicable inherited IRAs would have to be fully distributed within 10 years. The IRS then issued subsequent notices addressing whether Required Minimum Distributions were mandatory during this 10-year period. Confusion ensued within the tax world, leading the IRS to waive any related distributions in 2023....
